The Challenge:
To publicize the public education campaign on the many problems integral to fish farming.

The Action:
A billboard featuring striking typography and startling imagery to reinforce its message, was prominently placed in Victoria, BC as part of a campaign to inform and influence legislators of the need to regulate the fish farming industry.

The Result:
A moratorium on granting of fish farm licenses was instituted, and regulations brought into effect to prevent escapment of farmed fish into the wild environment. A widespread consumer boycott of farmed salmon also resulted from this campaign.
