Rainforest Kayak Adventures

The Challenge:
While competing with a host of other companies advertising in kayaking magazines, to create a disctinctive profile for a company specializing in educational adventure tours in world-famous Clayoquot Sound, British Columbia.

The Action:
Using full colour magazine placement, this ad was one of a series featuring scenic photos of kayakers enjoying the wonders of the area, and a palette of colours that recall the natural environment. It also draws on the name recognition of the proprietors in the kayaking community.

The Result:
Simple and elegant in its design, this ad uses graphic elements to unify the photo and type elements. The company’s logo was also designed and produced by Eye Design Inc. The company bookings and revenues have doubled in the last three seasons.
